Family Summertime Activities
Join us for summertime fun and support from other single parents like yourself. Activities include BBQs in the park, park play, family picnics, outings at McDonalds, hiking and camp outs. See our Calendar for more information or call the Chapter hotline at (925)373-2112.	Summertime fun!

Winter Activities
Rainy day activities	Look for our Friday Family Dinner nights at kid-friendly restaurants, trips to the movies, whale watching, bowling, roller-skating, ice-skating and our annual children's Christmas party.

Camping Trips
We organize camping trips each month in the summer. Our trips vary from local camping at Del Valle to more distant destinations such as Yosemite or the Grand Canyon. Our chapter had a chance to go white water rafting on the American river (South Fork)	white water rafting on the American river
We also went to Henry Cowell State park. Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park presents 15 miles of hiking and riding trails through a forest that looks much the same as it did 200 years ago. The park is the home of the Redwood Grove, with a self guided nature path, and Douglas fir, madrone, oak and the most unusual feature of the park, a stand of ponderosa pines.
